TWO ACQUISITIONS EXPAND MILES & BARR GROUP’S LETTINGS & PROPERTY MANAGEMENT DIVISION

The integration of Roger & Hambidge and Brettsletts marks a decisive moment in the company’s future growth plans as it actively expands its lettings portfolio.

Roger & Hambidge, located in Westgate-on-Sea, is a well-established independent block management business. Roger & Hambidge’s former owners, Jo and Paul King, will continue to contribute to the business on a consultancy basis. Miles & Barr’s block management services will focus on the management of residential blocks providing a variety of specialised services on behalf of freeholders and the lessees.

We have a strong foothold across East Kent, so we decided to look to a new region within the county and the purchase of Brettsletts provided an unmissable chance to establish our presence in and around Tunbridge Wells. The acquisition of Bretstletts, a boutique lettings agency started by a husband and wife duo, will add further managed properties to Miles & Barr’s extensive portfolio. The addition of Roger & Hambidge and Brettsletts follows the acquisition of Advanced Lettings in 2020. Miles & Barr, an independent property group, is a specialist in selling and buying homes, lettings, property management, relocations, financial services, commercial sales and lettings, as well as conveyancing. It has three dedicated letting branches, located in Thanet, Canterbury and Dover, as well as 12 sales office across East Kent. The company helps existing and new tenants find their dream home.
