Sleep out for Porchlight
We are proud to announce our partnership with Porchlight, Kent’s largest charity for homeless and vulnerable people. Over the coming months, we will raise money for Porchlight by taking part in a number of fundraising activities and the first one on our calendar is Sleep out for Porchlight.
On Saturday 9th October 2021, a large group of Miles & Barr employees will sleep beneath the stars to gain an understanding of what it’s like for the many people that have no choice but to sleep rough every night. While our fundraising event will have access to some amenities, the sensation of sleeping out on an autumnal evening with limited protection from the elements will be experienced by all of us that take part.
