Margate Soul Festival returns to the town once again this summer and we are proud to be sponsoring the 2019 event. Running between August 2 – August 4 the action-packed weekend promises to be well-attended across the various venues.
The UK’s signature soul event…
The first Margate Soul Festival was held back in 2002 to an intimate crowd. Picking up various sponsors along the way, including the likes of Zero Radio, a partnership with Gordon Mac and the team at Mi-Soul Radio, a Margate Soul Festival spokesperson says, “it is now the fastest growing soul music event of its type.”

The various arenas and locations for Margate Soul Festival are dotted around the town, from the likes of The Winter Gardens, Olby’s Soul Café and Carnival Corner.
You cannot stray far without a reminder of why the resurgence of the town dubbed ‘Shoreditch-on-Sea’ is so popular with both locals and those flooding in from out of the area.
