This will be our 12th time sponsoring and we cannot wait for Folk Week to start. Arguably one of the most attended local events in Thanet every year, it remains true to its roots… a traditional folk music and dance festival. Dating back to 1965, there will once again be around 70 events each day to choose from in the heart of Broadstairs.

Broadstairs Folk Week has become a tradition for the town, the buzz during the buildup and excitement during the event is there for all to see. Everyone has a different experience, whether it is spending time watching talented musicians, heading into the creative tents or mixing in a day at the beach with Folk Week – there is something to be entertained by until late.

Getting the most out of Folk Week…

There are plenty of acts on across the town during the event, so whether you are an experienced Folk Music enthusiast or are just wanting to see what it is all about, you can tailor your lineup however you would like. Camping is a popular option during the week with people coming into Broadstairs from out of the area and you can pre-book tickets to paid events.
